This contest is about you getting to share your fonest memory. We all love to think back to those special times that made an impact and left such great memories for us.
Maybe it is a place or maybe a person or maybe just a special day in your life. Either way we would love to share in that special time with you.

My best memory ever is of being at the airport as a kid when my GrandDad came to visit from the UK. I hadn't seen him in years and the very first thing he did when he saw me was rush to me and pick me up for a big hug.
He brought me the coolest toy Airplane , made of steel and shiny like a new car...) To this day it sits in my family room on my mantle as a reminder of how much my Gramps meant to me....:)
I miss him to this day.

Well one of my fondest memories is coming home when I was 7 years old. I hadn't sen my Dad is about a month because at that point he drove a truck and was away a lot.
I remember walking up to the house and seeing he was home- I went running into the house to greet him and couldn't find him anywhere. So i went outside to the backyard and he was there just finishing putting together a brand new bike for me as a present!!.
It was awesome, red with a yellow strip - a simple bike but it was perfect to me and the best present I can ever remember getting.
Thanks for giving me a chance to remember that!

Ahhhh...my fondest memory is when my daughter and son were little and we would have movie nights. Build a nice roaring fire in the fireplace, throw out a couple of mattresses and sleeping bags on the floor with sonny on one with his dad and daughter on the other with me, make some popcorn and eventually fall asleep altogether..Gosh I sure miss those times..kids grow up way too fast

Wow...I gotta say my fondest memory is of my Dad , I don't know if it was his up bringing or His German Heritage...but he was NOT an affectionate man...no hugs...no I Love You's...I KNEW he loved me but I always longed to hear him say it...and while he was in the hospital, not too long before he passed he took my hand in his and said "I Love You Sissy." and he kissed me on the cheek and gave me the GREATEST HUG EVER! I had waited 30+ years for that moment....I hope you can read this I'm typing thru tears...Thank You

You know what Vicky - I totally can understand that. My Dad is the sameway and I know he loves me but for whatever reason just can't come out and directly say it.
I make sure I tell my kids everyday how much there Pop's loves them...and I am so very happy for you that he told you...:)

I do the same even though my kids are grown 1 girl& 3boys we tell each other "Ilove You" every day weither in person or on the phone and I have always hugged and cuddled them still do lol:)
